DKG stands for Denise Kim Gafa, a Maltese creator, athlete, and storyteller whose life has been shaped by the sea, grit, and a deep love for adventure.

Born and raised in Marsaxlokk, Denise grew up surrounded by fishing boats, hard work, and a family rooted in the fishing industry. That upbringing built the foundation she still carries: discipline, early mornings, strong values, and the drive to build her life from the ground up.

In 2017, her path took her to Dublin, where she managed a tattoo studio. The experience cracked open a new side of her, expressive, fast-paced, people-focused, and full of creativity. It showed her how much she thrives in spaces that feel alive and connected.

When she returned to Malta, she opened her own gym. Fitness has always been part of her identity, not just physically but as a lifestyle and mindset. Denise lives holistically, believing in balance, nature, movement, good food, and taking care of the body so it can carry you through the life you want.

Outside the gym, Denise is rarely indoors. Fishing, farming, diving, exploring - anything close to the elements is her natural habitat. She feels most herself when life is raw, real, and a little wild.

Animals are at the centre of her everyday life. Her dogs and cat are her little crew, constant companions who keep her grounded no matter how hectic life gets.

Creativity is one of DKG’s strongest pulses. She produces content, organises events, builds group activities, and loves turning ideas into experiences. Give her a camera, a concept, or a blank canvas and she’ll create something people can feel. Bringing people together isn’t just something she does.. it’s something she’s built for.

At her core, DKG is driven by adventure, connection, and building things with meaning. This space is a reflection of all she is… and all the chapters still unfolding.
